Information and instructions on those to be supervised, searched or arrested were delivered to the KGB by a carefully organized network of informers, spies and agents. But the most valuable services were provided by loyal men placed within institutions and work places. Here are some of those who made the Latvians suffer: Yid, Cipe Gutmanis, a thief and a burglar with 3 1/2 years spent in prison, a servant of the Bolsheviks at the Apartments Administration (top).
